Radio Wave Solar is now entered to the third generation

In November, 2004, the first generation OCEANUS(OCW-500) was released.

That was the moment OCEANUS pioneered the full metal chronograph wave solar category for the first time.
Wave solar had been criticized as for the poor selection of case design, but OCEANUS had overcame such criticism because of pre-loaded wave solar system.
Moreover, by loading 5 motor drives, it succeed to add more various features than previous chronographs.

2006, “Multiband 5” was released

By corresponding to standard frequency at 5 international stations, the existence value for wave solar have been enlarged. After that, they released 10.2mm thin case model and 20 atmosphere pressure waterproof model continuously.
This is the only brand to pursue the development of wave solar. 

Then, winter in 2008, wave solar has changed dramatically that we could call it for the third generation.New Oceanus<Manta>

Casio’s original crushproof technology has been introduced and “Time Movement” feature has been loaded. China’s frequency has been added, so that total of 6 stations is now capable of receiving frequency.
Reliability of Oceanus has is now firm stand!
